Who either left a comment emailed me or rang me with regards to the school bullying. We have finally made some ground. The principal was telling us that we were over reacting and the bus driver was too. But after a day observing we got a phone call from him with a big appology saying that he didn't realise the problem was as big as it was. They have called a lady in to observe (which probably won't do much after a huge bollacking from the principal and the other teachers.) But she will come back with a report that she will bring to us and ask us about and then take to the principal and other teacher. So it is promissing. and I have to admit that Jake is enjoying school now. It has brought huge changes. We are now taking them to school (about 8 ks) and we leave now at 10 to nine instead of the usual 7.30 (they use to be at school at 7.45) and we are home by 3.10 instead of after 4. That has made a huge difference and the kids love it. But in doing this we have had to buy a new car. The Falcon has over 200,000 ks on the clock and if something happened to it we couldn't get the kids as you have to go across the main road. So we have brought a 2000 Mazda 626 with 62,000 ks on the clock. It goes really well actually and the kids love it because it has a CD and tape deck LOL.
Any way moving on. Today we had the opening 7 aside tournament (rugby). Only Olly was playing and boy he did well. He scored 6 tries and came away with the fair play award. They were going to give him POD but they said that the fair play award only happens at tournaments and they thought that it was more honnorable. The coach came up and said to Olly that they couldn't believe he hadn't played before. He said " you might be a All Black one day" to which Olly replied deadly serious, " No, I AM going to be a All Black." The coach said " well don't forget me when your playing for them." Olly said " Na, I won't" LOL, don't ya love the confidence of it all.
What else has happened????? We have been busy shearing agaiiiiiin. It does get fairly tedious. Monday Abby and I are off to Dunedin with a friend whos daughter is turning 5 the following Monday. They are going to the movies and chipmunks. Only 3 adults and 3 kids are going so it should be a ball. Other than that there hasn't been much going on. So till next time.

sounds like you have had a horrible time Bronny :-( pleased there is something being done. alicia is a bit the same with girly nastiness at school, but there's nothing we can put our finger on.
I'm pleased you did come to the retreat.
I'm glad there is some sort of AWARENESS occurring then in terms of the school. Hopefully that will result in some action too.
Go Olly!
Excellent news! Let's hope they take some action now
